Our Spring Workshops are in session!

This spring, Girls ReCode is hosting an all-virtual nationwide workshop in 4 curricula: Introduction to Scratch, Introduction to App Development with Swift, Introduction to Java, and Introduction to Python. Scratch

Want to gain a solid introduction to coding? Signup for the Scratch workshop, it is the perfect tool to create games and have other fun learning experiences. We recommend this workshop for beginner coders, and people who want to understand logistically what code blocks do!

App Development

Want to learn how to make amazing IOS apps? Signup for this Girls ReCode workshop! In the App Development Workshop, we will be teaching an introduction to Swift and teaching you how to create many different apps! We recommend 6th to 9th grade girls signing up for this workshop!

Note: Programming IOS apps with Swift is only supported with Mac computers of some type.

Java

Want to learn the programming language Java? Signup now! In this workshop, we will be teaching an introduction to this programming language as well as lessons on computer science principles. This workshop will be embedded with multiple projects and games! We recommend 4th to 8th grade girls signing up for this workshop!

Python

Want to learn the programming language Python? Signup now! In this workshop, we will be teaching an introduction to this programming language as well as teaching basic computer science principles. We'll teach you to make multiple projects and games. We recommend 4th to 8th grade girls signing up for this workshop!
